Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Manish Aura Grand, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. We have designed our cancellation and refund policies to be as clear, fair, and accommodating as possible, while ensuring we can continue to offer the highest standard of hospitality to all our guests.

Please review the detailed terms below governing room reservations, modifications, and refunds.

1. Standard Individual Bookings (1 to 4 Rooms)

The following cancellation windows apply to all standard reservations made directly through our website, reservations desk, or on-property team. Timeframes are calculated based on our standard check-in time of 2:00 PM (IST) on your scheduled date of arrival.

  • Up to 48 Hours Before Check-in (Free Cancellation): Cancellations or modifications requested at least 48 hours prior to the standard check-in time on your arrival date will be processed without any retention fee. You are entitled to a 100% refund of your deposit or advance payment.
  • 24 to 48 Hours Before Check-in (50% Retention): If a cancellation or modification is made between 24 and 48 hours prior to the standard check-in time, a 50% retention fee of the total booking value will be applied. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment source.
  • Within 24 Hours of Check-in & No-Shows (No Refund): Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the standard check-in time, or failure to arrive at the property (No-Show), will incur a 100% retention fee. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

2. Refund Processing & Timelines

  • Processing Time: All eligible refunds are initiated by our billing department within 24 hours of the cancellation request. However, please allow up to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.
  • Source of Refund: For security and compliance purposes, all refunds will be strictly credited back to the original source of payment (e.g., the same credit card, debit card, or UPI account used for the booking). We cannot issue cash refunds for digital transactions or transfer funds to alternate bank accounts.
  • Gateway Delays: While we process refunds promptly, exact credit times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment gateway processing cycles.

3. Group Bookings & Events

To ensure the seamless planning of large gatherings and celebrations, group reservations require dedicated inventory management.

  • Definition: Any reservation consisting of 5 or more rooms, or reservations tied to banquet and lawn events, is classified as a Group Booking.
  • Terms: Standard cancellation policies do not apply to Group Bookings or Event venue reservations. These bookings are governed by a separate, custom contract and payment schedule provided by our Events & Group Reservations Desk at the time of booking.

4. Booking Modifications & Early Departures

  • Modifications: Requests to change booking dates, room categories, or guest counts are subject to real-time availability and current tariff differences. Modifications requested within 48 hours of arrival may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking.
  • Early Departures: If you choose to shorten your stay and check out before your scheduled departure date, the property reserves the right to charge for the remaining unused nights. Refunds for early departures are purely at the discretion of the management.

5. Third-Party & OTA Bookings

If your reservation was made through a third-party travel agent or an Online Travel Agency (e.g., MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Agoda), you must process any cancellations or modifications directly through their platform. Manish Aura Grand cannot directly refund or modify bookings made outside of our direct channels; the specific cancellation policies presented by the third-party platform at the time of your booking will apply.

6. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)

In the event of unavoidable circumstances—such as government-mandated travel restrictions, extreme weather events, or natural disasters that physically prevent you from reaching Vadodara—Manish Aura Grand management will review cancellations on a case-by-case basis. In such exceptional cases, we may offer a free date modification or a credit voucher valid for future stays in lieu of a standard refund.
